Getting started

How Rekyndo works as a white-label platform

What is Rekyndo?

Rekyndo is a white-label marketplace platform for industrial and commercial equipment. It lets you launch your own branded marketplace where buyers, sellers, and service providers transact around equipment — with a unique product-centric service tender system built in. Your users can attach services like transport, installation, certification, and repair directly to equipment transactions.

Who is Rekyndo for?

Rekyndo is built for platform operators — OEMs, distributors, industry associations, and companies looking to launch their own equipment marketplace. Each marketplace ships with three built-in user types: Buyers who purchase equipment, Sellers who list and sell equipment, and Service Providers who compete for service contracts through tenders.

How do I get started?

Start setup through our website. Once accepted, you'll get a guided onboarding process where we help you configure your marketplace — categories, branding, pricing rules, verification settings, service workflows, and circular reporting. From there, you can invite your first users and go live.

Which markets does Rekyndo support?

Rekyndo supports marketplaces across 16+ markets, initially focused on the Nordic and European regions. The platform is designed to scale internationally. Contact us to discuss launching a marketplace in your region.

How do service tenders work?

Service tenders are a built-in feature of every Rekyndo-powered marketplace. When a buyer purchases equipment or needs a service for equipment they already own, they can create a service tender attached to that product. The tender goes through a quality review, then becomes visible to qualified service providers. Providers submit competitive proposals, and the buyer awards the contract to the best fit.

Buyer experience

What your marketplace buyers can do

Is the marketplace free for buyers?

By default, buyers can browse the full equipment catalog, contact sellers, and purchase equipment without a subscription. Operators can configure transaction commissions and fee structures to fit their business model — all transparent to buyers with no hidden fees.

How do buyers find the right equipment?

Your marketplace includes an equipment catalog with advanced filters for category, condition, location, and price range, plus keyword search. Each listing shows detailed specifications, photos, seller information, and available services.

Can buyers negotiate the price?

It depends on the listing type. Equipment listed as "open for offers" allows buyers to submit an offer below the asking price. The seller can accept, reject, or counter-offer. Direct-sale listings have a fixed price. Operators can configure which listing types are available.

Can buyers request services for equipment they're buying?

Absolutely — this is a core built-in feature. When purchasing equipment, buyers can create a service tender for transport, installation, certification, or repair. Qualified service providers submit proposals so buyers can compare pricing and timelines in one place.

What happens after a buyer purchases equipment?

After purchase, the payment is held for a configurable protection period (7 days by default). During this time, logistics can be arranged independently or through a service tender. Once the holding period passes with no disputes, the payout is released to the seller.

Seller experience

How your sellers list, subscribe, and get paid

How do sellers list equipment for sale?

Sellers create listings through a built-in guided wizard. They add equipment details, photos, and choose from five flexible listing types: direct sale, open for offers, reservable, requires service, or pre-qualified. Options can be combined — for example, a product can be both direct sale and reservable. Listings go through a brief review before going live.

What listing types are available?

The platform ships with five listing types that can be combined: Direct sale (fixed price), Open for offers (buyers can negotiate), Reservable (buyers can reserve before purchasing), Requires service (buyer must arrange a service), and Pre-qualified (only verified buyers matching specific criteria can purchase). Operators can configure which types are available on their marketplace.

How does seller pricing work?

Seller subscriptions and listing fees are configurable by the marketplace operator. Operators can set monthly subscription tiers, per-listing charges, and commission rates. The platform handles all billing and payouts through Stripe Connect.

How do sellers get paid?

Payments are processed through Stripe Connect. After a buyer completes a purchase, funds are held for a configurable protection period. Once the holding period passes, the payout is released directly to the seller's bank account. Sellers track all transactions and payouts from their dashboard.

What is the pre-qualification workflow?

Pre-qualified listings require buyers to meet specific criteria before they can purchase. Sellers define the requirements (such as certifications, company size, or geographic location). Buyers who want to purchase must submit their qualifications for review before the transaction can proceed.

Do sellers get a branded storefront?

Yes. Every marketplace includes built-in seller storefronts that showcase the organization, active listings, and company details. This helps build trust with buyers and gives equipment more visibility.

Provider experience

How service providers find tenders and win contracts

How do service providers find opportunities?

Each marketplace includes a built-in tender pipeline. After subscribing, providers see active tenders matching their service categories and geographic coverage. They can preview basic details for free and open full tender details when interested — which counts against their monthly view allowance or is charged per view.

What service categories are supported?

The platform supports a wide range of industrial services organized around the three pillars of decommissioning, reuse, and recycling. Categories include transport and logistics, installation and commissioning, inspection and certification, maintenance and repair, dismantling and decommissioning, and recycling services. Operators can configure which categories are active.

How does service provider pricing work?

Service provider subscription tiers and per-view fees are configurable by the marketplace operator. The platform includes built-in billing for monthly subscriptions with tender view allowances. Operators set the pricing that fits their market.

How does the pay-per-view model work?

Each subscription plan includes a monthly allowance of tender views. Previewing basic tender information (category, location, service type) is free. Opening full tender details to see specifications and submit a proposal counts as a view. If providers exceed their monthly allowance, additional views are charged individually.

How do providers win a tender?

After viewing full tender details, providers submit a competitive proposal with pricing, timeline, and relevant experience. The buyer reviews all proposals and awards the contract. The platform handles the entire flow — from proposal submission to contract award.

Tenders

How product-centric service tenders work

What is a product-centric service tender?

A product-centric service tender is a service request that is always attached to a specific piece of equipment. Unlike traditional RFPs, tenders on your marketplace are contextual — service providers can see exactly which equipment needs servicing, its condition, location, and specifications. This leads to more accurate proposals and better outcomes.

What types of services can be tendered?

Your marketplace supports tendering any service related to industrial equipment: transport and logistics, installation and commissioning, inspection and certification, maintenance and repair, dismantling and decommissioning, and recycling. All services are organized around three pillars: decommissioning, reuse, and recycling.

How long does the tender process take?

After a buyer submits a tender, it goes through a brief quality review (typically within 24 hours). Once approved, it becomes visible to matching service providers. The proposal collection period is configurable. Most tenders receive multiple proposals within a few days, and the buyer can award the contract as soon as they find the right fit.

Can tenders be created without buying equipment?

Yes. While tenders are always attached to a product listing, buyers can create a tender for equipment they already own by creating a listing specifically for servicing. This lets your marketplace's service provider network serve existing equipment owners too.

Pricing & licensing

Licensing, fees, and operator-configurable pricing

How is Rekyndo licensed?

Rekyndo is licensed to platform operators on a subscription basis. Your license includes the full marketplace platform — equipment trading, service tenders, user management, payments, and verification. Contact us for licensing tiers and pricing tailored to your marketplace size and needs.

Is there a trial or product preview?

We offer product preview surfaces and a guided onboarding period where operators can explore the platform and its features. Start setup to be among the first operators to launch a marketplace with Rekyndo. Specific trial details are shared during onboarding.

Can operators configure their own fees?

Yes. Operators have full control over the fee structure on their marketplace — transaction commissions, seller subscription tiers, service provider view pricing, and more. All payments are processed through Stripe, with payouts routed directly to user bank accounts via Stripe Connect.

What payment infrastructure is included?

The platform includes Stripe-powered payment processing out of the box — supporting credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers. Operators can configure commission rates, holding periods, and payout schedules. All fees are transparent to the buyers, sellers, and service providers using your marketplace.

Trust & security

Verification, data protection, user safety

How does organization verification work?

Every Rekyndo-powered marketplace includes built-in KYC (Know Your Customer) verification via Stripe Identity. All organizations go through verification before they can transact. This ensures every buyer, seller, and service provider is a legitimate business — building trust across your marketplace.

How is user data protected?

The platform enforces row-level security on all data, meaning users can only access information they're authorized to see. Payments are processed through Stripe with PCI-DSS compliance. Rekyndo follows GDPR requirements for data handling and privacy, and all communication is encrypted in transit.

What buyer protection is built in?

Equipment sale payouts include a configurable holding period (7 days by default), giving buyers time to verify their purchase. During this period, buyers can raise disputes. The platform includes built-in dispute mediation to ensure fair outcomes.

Platform

Equipment categories, sustainability, operator support

What equipment categories are included?

The platform ships with 50+ categories of industrial and commercial equipment, covering industries like manufacturing, construction, energy, food processing, logistics, and more. Operators can customize which categories are active on their marketplace.

Does the platform support sustainability reporting?

Yes. Rekyndo is built around the three pillars of decommissioning, reuse, and recycling. The platform tracks equipment lifecycle data and provides sustainability metrics that help operators and their marketplace participants report on circular economy initiatives and environmental impact.

How can operators contact the platform team?

Operators can reach the Rekyndo platform team through the contact page. We're available to help with marketplace configuration, technical questions, deployment choices, and onboarding. For urgent matters, use the contact form and we'll prioritize your request.
