Privacy notice.
What Rekyndo collects, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. Written to be read — plain English first, legal detail second.
Information we collect
Rekyndo collects information you provide directly when creating an account, listing equipment, submitting tenders, or contacting our support team. This includes:
- Account information: name, email address, company name, and password
- Business details: VAT number, registered address, and contact numbers
- Listing data: equipment descriptions, specifications, images, and pricing
- Communication data: messages exchanged through the platform between buyers, sellers, and service providers
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, search queries, and session durations
- Device and browser data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and referral URLs
We may also receive information about you from third parties such as business verification services or industry directories to validate company information submitted during registration.

Data sharing
Rekyndo does not sell your personal data. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:
- Platform participants: Certain profile and listing information is visible to other authenticated users on the platform as part of the marketplace function. Service providers do not have public profiles.
- Service providers: We engage trusted third-party vendors (hosting, analytics, payment processing) who process data on our behalf under data-processing agreements.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Rekyndo or its users.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Data retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you close your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes — tax records, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.
Usage and analytics data may be retained in an aggregated, anonymised form indefinitely to support platform improvement activities.
